A Small insight into my process and practice.
Firstly I hand render textures and shapes usually using pen and ink. These are done very intuitively and have no real focus or end goal.
I then look through my old photography. I usually select images that capture my mood at the time. But again with no real focus or conscious idea in mind.
After turing my image or images into halftone I begin to cut up and rearrange pieces. Working in photoshop allows me to combine a digital and organic aesthetic.
After experimenting with different colours and variations I return to the tangible world where I screen print my design. During this process many things can change, including colour, layers and layout.
The finished prints are available on my online shop
