‘Capsule Tower ’ is an original abstract collage inspired by form, abstraction, and urban decay. Featuring brutalist architecture, the Nakagin Capsule Tower (completed in 1972 in Tokyo’s Ginza district), it is created using screen-printed paper and card, collaged onto plywood. The message and meaning behind his works reflect how we view neglected spaces in the urban landscape and the importance of finding the right balance between deconstruction and reconstruction. Sold in a solid ash frame stained white, 670 x 920mm x 35mm | 9mm plywood | signed on the back
